The Village Green

"... a jewel in the heart of our community, although owned by the Church, has been bequeathed for the benefit of the village. Currently, it comprises a baseball diamond, children's play equipment and a wooded area. It is well used; there is an annual Shanty Bay Festival, a "boot" (garage sale), fall concert, corn roast, baseball, picnics, Vacation Bible Camp and a variety of impromtu events. The grounds are maintained through the generosity of the community."
